Current Position: Schweinfurt, Germany Hometown: Chicago, IL, USA |
Background
I am a high school (9-12) Science teacher in Schweinfurt, Germany. I teach at a DoDDS military school, which is comprised of mostly army teenagers. This past summer, I worked on the second part of my Masters degree in Educational Technology from Michigan State University. Currently, I am working on two classes for the EdTech Masters. I will complete the program in the Fall of 2013.
Learning about education all over the world is one of my passions, and I am on the National Science Teachers Association's International Committee, which is committed to promoting quality science education throughout the world. I am interested in science teaching positions at the high school level. I am also interested in working in informal education such as museums, developing exhibits, giving presentations, and designing lessons for teachers to use the museum to its fullest educational potential.
